About William Cooper and JoAnn Lippert

Artist Statement

William Cooper and JoAnn Lippert, a husband and wife team, have traveled the world combining their passion for adventure travel and photography.  Their passion for mountain climbing, trekking and whitewater rafting has taken them to all corners of the earth.

The focus of their photography are the sights, colors and textures of world cultures.  Personal interaction with people is a pivotal part of their photographic approach.  They participate in the culture rather than just observe.  During the last five years, their photographic focus has been on hte ceremonies, religious traditions and day-today life of the peoples and tribes of the world.  Their travels have given them the opportunity to preserve through photographs the rich cultural diversity of our planet.

Cooper and Lippert use both digital and film photographic equipment.
